We are stoked to announce that StockCharts.com has released its new share feature including Chart.ly integration. StockCharts users will now be able to easily share their technical analysis work by clicking one button, no more screen shots, no more saving files to your hard drive, just awesomeness.
Let’s take a short walk through the new share feature.
If you are a premium StockCharts subscriber, start by logging in as you normally would and access any one of your saved charts. If you’re not yet a subscriber, you can access free charts by entering a symbol at the top of the page.
Below the chart you will find the “share” link which will be highlighted, when you are ready to share your chart you can click it.
A pop up will appear with a list of share features, the Chart.ly button is located on the left side. After clicking the Chart.ly button, StockCharts will authorize your Twitter account. If you are not already logged into twitter it will prompt you for your credentials the first time.
A text entry box will pop up in which you can write a message as you normally would on Chart.ly. There is no need to include the symbol or $ as they will automatically be added before the tweet. When you are finished with your message, click share.
Your chart will now show up in your Chart.ly archive, your Twitter stream, and on StockTwits!!!!
We’d also like to send a warm thank you to Chip Anderson and the StockCharts.com team for making it easier for our shared users to get their charts out there to the community!
